Suggest pop music for Guy!

I'm going to suggest Jessie Ware (video).

We, being Canadians, do have some plastic-y money now. It also has a clear panel. It feels weird.

I love the art on the new $10 but the money itself feels wrong.

Music tip for hipster cred: continue to listen to Robyn, as all gay men already do.

Any week now she'll be putting out a new song with Royksopp, and we'll all be set for another 5 years at least.

I went to University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, which is also a big ag school. We had a see thru cow and a meat lab. I always loved getting University branded meat:

And I was given the impression that Rutgers University's see-through cow was unique!

We've got a meat lab at the Universty of Georgia as well, and they use the same packaging! It must be issued to all land grant universities. They produce the best bratwurst I've ever had in the US, and it's the only place to get Canadian-style bacon around here.

yeah it was delicious. once i walked into the meat lab by the wrong door, and i was in the middle of a lot of hanging carcasses. also at UIUC all the vet students had to take some class there, and so everyone who worked there (and thus cut meat) was like an 18 year old peppy blonde girl who wanted to make sick puppies better.

Glad you guys are doing your Battleship show inside the ship. American Idol held auditions on the flight deck a few years ago & it was awful. Lots of background noise and echoing. Good luck & I can't wait to hear it!

Another music recommendation for Guy.

If your favorite thing about Neutral Milk Hotel is the pop and girl-group influence, I would suggest the albums The Stage Names and The Stand Ins by the band Okkervil River. Strong influence of both of those aesthetics.

When i heard Guy say "I have long maintained that Crossfit is just no-homo pilates," it was one of the best things I have ever heard on JJGo. I like Crossfit, but this description makes perfect sense.

Guy might dig tune-yards' album WHOKILL. Or it might be too weird for him. But I dig it.

Music Rec. for Guy:

Hercules and Love Affair - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fb8S51M2GAc
It's the dance-pop/disco-house project of Antony Hegarty (from Antony and the Johnsons)
