There's no way of overstating the importance of this episode, so we're just gonna lay it out there: Royal Rife invented a cancer-curing death ray and it's being kept from you by ... somebody. Sort of. Maybe. Don't worry, Dr. Sydnee and Justin are blowing this one wide open.

I feel like I need to draw a picture of Royal Rife on a speedboat, playing his 100 string guitar, and mounted on the front of the boat is a sweet ass cancer curing death ray.

Dr Sydnee mentioned she's not affiliated with the AMA.

Do you guys live in Canada? Or what kind of physician is she?

Also, the aforementioned AMA conspiracy allusion reminds me of the hilarious Elaine bit on Seinfeld with her and the AMA.

Thank you for doing this episode. These things still exist. My mom has an incurable and largely untreatable illness, and her massage therapist convinced my dad to buy one. It's still in their house, and every time I see it I want to punch something.

When I was in high school in the 60's, twelve-string guitars were a thing. All it was, was a regular guitar but each string was doubled. The same number of notes, and played the same way, but twice as loud. A classmate of mine had an eighteen-string guitar made. It had three strings for each note. Again, played just like a regular six-string guitar, but three times as loud. You had to be able to hold all three strings of a triplet with one finger.

A hundred-string guitar would be impossible to play in the normal guitar fashion. You would not be able to hold down the desired strings properly. Perhaps it was more like a harp than a guitar, where you pluck strings but never hold them against a fret to alter the note. In which case, is it really proper to even call it a guitar? I'm reminded of Harpo Marx, playing a piano by reaching inside it and plucking the strings instead of hitting the keys. Maybe this thing loosely resembled a guitar but you just plucked the strings like a harp.
