Hi Graham! I just wanted to comment about your problem with eating apples. My daughter has the same type of reaction to certain fruits. (It's called oral allergy syndrome--you can find info on it if you google it.) If she peels the apple first, she will avoid getting that itchy/burning mouth sensation. I think it has something to do with being allergic to pollen (the pollen gets into or on the skin of the apple and gives you a reaction when you eat it). Cooking fruit will also keep it from happening.

I thought Chris's name sounded familiar. I saw him and Peter at Edmonton's 2012 Fringe and it was the best show I saw that year. Laughter tears, everywhere. I deeply regret missing out on their 2013 show because of scheduling conflicts.

If those guys are doing a Fringe show in your city, definitely go check them out!

Great episode, as always!

I had to find a video of that apple eating method. So, without further adieu:

This blog post talks about the above video, and they give it a try as well, hah.

I guess I'm in the demographic of "extreme interest in alternative eating methods".

That was one of the most hilarious exchanges when Dave's opinion turned on a dime.
Dave: Liver ugh! bleh! yuck! eww! poo!
Graham: Isn't pate liver?
Dave: Oh yum I'd eat that.
