It was no surprise that Aisha was an awesome guest. I especially loved that she had several nicknames holstered. I enjoyed that Jesse and Aisha are both Academy Alumni. Albeit different generations, of course.

Did anyone else notice when she mixed up the names? It made it even better :D

So stoked my call was played on Momentous Occasions! My week is complete even if it's just starting.

Jordan asked for more information, i.e. shoe jewelry. It was at an H&M in Emeryville, and the guy asked every clerk in the entire store this question. Also, the man was wearing a wife beater and faded jeans, and he looked like Bob Hoskins. And Jesse, I'm sorry but I don't listen to Stop Podcasting Yourself. I'm too dedicated to American podcasts to listen to Canadian ones. U.S.A.! U.S.A.! U.S.A.!

Some new/amazing Shia Lebeouf weirdness that happened after we recorded this episode.

I think somewhere around when I heard her first Indoor Kids guest spot I realized that Aisha Tyler is possibly the best person in the universe, and this episode did nothing to disabuse that notion. Superb.

Also, total agreement on Archer being the best thing on TV--literate and dick jokes forever. Also, Jordan, you are not alone, I was getting totally emotional at that scene too.

Jesse - I think you're 1000% a success story for the kids at your alma mater; your success is in a creative field adjacent acting, and you "made your thing," which is a great message for them. Also, what Aisha said regarding just doing the creative thing you love and it will bring you happiness, and possibly financial award down the road.

Jordan - you haven't had a weed-related panic attack yet, but unless you're unusually non-neurotic for a creative person, (which you may well be,) it'll happen at one point. It does for all of us. And then you quit weed, at least temporarily.

Archer is fresh.

He definitely did plan most of it from the beginning as http://www.tcj.com/goodnight evidenced by him copying marketing material from a sort-of-well-known art comics company, but it's time's like this that I reminded that he had no endgame.

(Incidentally, I bet Jordan would really have liked Even Stevens.)

Anyway, brilliant episode! I was there when Aisha talked at the College, but it's honestly her actions, not her words, that are inspiring.

As the guy with the hockey stick Momentous Occasion, just a note that yes, indeed, this took place in Canada (in fact the hockey stick was bought at Canadian Tire).

So even in his "penance" for plagiarism he can't help but plagiarize...

"Mediocre artists imitate. Great artists steal."

Shia Labeouf is a GREAT ARTIST!

Edit: Learned that this saying is apocryphally attributed to Picasso and is likely an inversion from a source that said precisely the opposite.
