Biz and Theresa talk about what it's like when our kids hurt our feelings and how we try to deal with it. Hint: Slamming the door and telling them we can’t be friends anymore sadly is not the answer. Biz contemplates the other side of crazy and Theresa needs a vacation...on a boat! Plus, we talk “spirited kids” and how to handle it when your kid hits you with Mary Sheedy Kurcinka, author of Raising Your Spirited Child and Kids, Parents, and Power Struggles: Winning for a Lifetime.

Episode 56: My Kids Hurt My Feelings!

Share a time when your child hurt your feelings and how you handled it.

OR share a time you hurt your parent's feelings and what happened.

Do you have a "spirited child"? Please share and discuss!

Good topic! This is one of my mom's pet peeves. When I was in elementary school, her job was home tutoring kids who couldn't go to school--lots of illnesses or injuries, but about half pregnant or postpartum teenagers. She always used to say "my students say they want a baby because it will love them, but my children have told me they hate me more than anyone I've ever met." :( :( Sorry Mom.
