We took a brief breather from our tightly-regimented schedule of collecting Archie backissues and stalking Jon Favreau around the San Diego Comic-Con showfloor to break you off a slice of wisdom. Come, throw on your Spike Spiegel costume, and let's get this party started.

We know someone who named their child after a Fifth Element character. Parents, no. No.

Parents, yes. I'm assuming it's Zerocrates Jones.
Also, in the nerdiest link on the internet, a house named Ghost Dennis is already a thing.

The Giant/Super Scott Bakula trip on this week's episode was an instantly worthy addition to all-time best MBMBAM bits. Before the episode was over I started jamming this out, partly because it's been a while since I did a MBMBAM jam, but also because… it's Super Bakula vs. Super Chlamydia. C'mon!

My real last name is Riddle, which has resulted in a decent amount of painful Voldemort jokes at my expense. One of my teachers when I was a freshman in high school even nicknamed me Voldemort. It also comes up awkwardly when checking out at the grocery store etc... Speaking from experience, it is not fun to have a name that is related to a major cultural touchstone for people of my age, 18.

If you want to name your child in tribute to the works of J. K. Rowling, the best way to go is just to give your child a cartoonishly ethnic name, so that people will know the universe of your family is diverse, and also so you can avoid giving any minor members of your family personalities at all.
