Wow! I suggest Moshe as a guest on Sunday, and now here is on the show, posted Tuesday. That's some amazing work!
For record: I know things don't work like this.
Amazing interview. I've often found myself frustrated by the stories Moshe tells being mixed in with the funny. This isn't to say I don't appreciate the funny. I really do. But I find myself screaming that I want to know more. This interview gets more at the story, with fewer overt jokes - although there are still more than a few jokes.

"The devil sounds like he's quarterbackin'" just made me laugh out loud, at work.
Moshe's whole segment is just incredible.
Also, never really gave Witchdoctor much thought before, even though I always loved his cameo appearances and I remember when his album came out. I'll have to check out that album.

Moshe's story is Full-On-Kevin's-Mom cray.

So glad I got to hear the long-form version - this is a real Bullseye deepdive classic. Not so much a teaser for the book as a version of the book, that's how rich it is. And this version has the benefit of hilarious (and insightful) moments such as the angel/devil bit ("Wait, the angel doesn't want you to listen to E 40?"). Out of nowhere I got completely choked up at the part about Mike the translator.

I can't believe more people haven't commented on how amazing this episode was. So so so thoughtful and funny. I will absolutely be picking up Moshe's book FO SHO.
(And yeah, I got pretty misty at parts.)

Just finished Moshe's book. It was quite good, but I'm hoping he writes another that is more in depth about balancing in between the hearing and the deaf worlds. I think now that he's got the cray shit from his youth out of the way, it would be a worthy subject to focus on. His guesting on Probably Science had a lot of practical insight about deaf education and literacy that, as a hearing person, I never would have thought of. I'm re-listening to the Bullseye interview now and really enjoy Jesse's and Moshe's comparisons of post-divorce decorum.
