I had never heard of "head measurement" as a thing that was even done to babies. But in the past year, nearly everyone I know who has had a baby has talked about how their baby's head was measured in a 90+ percentile. Maybe they need to re-calibrate this scale.

I listened to this THE SAME DAY that I read a gut-wrenchingly tragic story from an old New Yorker that started with a baby's head being too big.

That story made me fucking cry.

Goddam. As a parent, that shit was so hard to read.

I ordered two of the author's books because the story was so tragic, yet beautiful written. I'm tearing up just thinking about it.
