In his new movie, Ice-T interviews Snoop, Rakim, and a bunch of other famous rappers. Plus, Ice reveals whether he wrote raps for Mr. T in the 80s. Jesse also talks to Greta Gerwig -- star of the new movie Lola Versus. Plus Aaron Freeman, formerly of the rock band Ween, talks about the song that changed his life. It's sort of distinctly un-Ween-y. Let's go! Bullseye with Jesse Thorn: Ice-T, Greta Gerwig, Aaron Freeman and The Low Times

Coolio stealing a guitar from a Canadian pawn shop is already worth the time it took to listen to this episode.

Really loved the Ice-T interview. The story of writing raps for Mr. T was excellent. When I told my wife about this, her first response was "Did he ask if they're related?"

Even though there was no discussion of Kristen Schaal is a Horse, this is still my favorite episode of Bullseye this year. Ice-T was really in top form and totally reminded me exactly how fucking awesome he really is (it can be easy to forget what with the reality shows and whatnot). The clips from his movie sound super, super fascinating; there's not enough critical discussion about rap music, and even less with a historical perspective made by the people who started it. I'm really excited to see the film now. Great job there, Jesse! <3

The Ice-T interview was fantastic - one of my favourites that you've done, Jesse. What a charming guy he is.

The Mr T part was so good I'll give you a pass on not asking him about his role as a CEO turned gang leader in Gears of War 3 and that he reunited with Body Count to do a song for it because he is a hardcore gamer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_CT9xZKWFQAlthough 7 minutes of Ice T unboxing an xbox 360 is pretty good too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7RwoaiMFjAAlso Ice Loves Coco is literally the only reality show I watch too. Coco is awesome.

The Ice-T interview was great, and it's neat to hear him talking like a normal person. But what I really wanted to say was that I, too, love History of the World, Part I.

As an avid hip-hop listener since the mid 80's, I was stoked to see Ice-T in the description line of this week's Bullseye. It was a delightfully informative interview, yet I take some offense to referring to Aesop Rock's forthcoming release in July as his first real album. If you exclude his self produced, self sold debut "Music for Earthworms" in 1997, "Skelethon" will be his 5th label distributed album. He's been in it for 15+ years...... I love you Jessie, but your wrong. Even if you sell his early releases short, 2007's "None Shall Pass" is fantastic from start to finish, with excellent production from El-P and Blockhead. I'm just saying, his track record as an emcee deserves more respect than that.

I'd say all purchases of Bazooka Tooth are mistakes.
YABURNT, AESOP ROCK.
