Mark Duplass is involved in half a dozen projects. But he isn't worried about spreading himself too thin. Plus, Jesse talks to the writer and comic Scott Aukerman about sketch comedy on the cult classic Mr. Show, scripts for doomed film projects, and what it's like hosting a new, surreal TV talk show: Comedy Bang Bang. And David Rees gets serious about the ART of pencil sharpening. Bullseye with Jesse Thorn: Scott Aukerman, Mark Duplass, and David Rees

Great Outshot this week. What a timeless, original, undislikable album Blowout Comb is.
I'm curious what Jesse thinks of Shabazz Palaces...

I find Shabazz Palaces interesting, but a little scattered. I actually liked Cherrywine a lot, though. So make of that what you will.

How refreshing is Mark Duplass's wish to hold where he is rather than seeking to grow? It's nice to see someone content. That's not to say people shouldn't have ambitions, but I'd love to hear more successful people recognize their own success and express satisfaction with where they are.

I'm really happy every time Scott is on a MaxFun podcast. Just such a fun dude.
Also spending today going back and listening to Blowout Comb. I loved it so much in Jr High
