Not only that but I was listening to Letterman's chat with Alec Baldwin thinking how as much as I dig Kimmel and Conan and others, Dave is still the King of my late night heart. I remember reading Elvis Mitchell in the NYTimes in high school, and thinking "I like him, but I don't like him writing this kind of way." So wonderful that he's found the perfect venue for him, and my god what an interview, the living embodiment of the word "raconteur."

I really, really want to read that piece he wrote on Cheers. My academic privileges for LexisNexis are gone, anyone else want to take a look?
