1. I was very impressed when Jesse referenced the hippie witch Starhawk. I was once part of a die-in that she led. It was equal parts touching and awkward. 2. My kids love the story 'I love you forever, I like you for always.' They'll occasionally ask us to read it. 3. I was surprised there was no talk of gun naming.

Is it normal that this showed up on the RSS feed but isn't on the maxfun webpage yet? I was getting withdrawal symptoms from no new episode and then noticed this thread and found the episode in the RSS feed.

So, according to their LiveJournal page, La Fonda is a monthly meetup for the LA Goth-Industrial community. Who'da thunk it! Also, word up to WMAC Masters. http://www.youtube.com/embed/jX6hnoCU_bA

I tried something new this week with reference links/footnotes that I compiled during the show, so it took me a little longer to post on the main site. The show entry should be up now.

Jordan's tumblr says JJGO is at 3pm, but the WB site and the episode say it's at 5. (The website also says a table read of Chuck starring fans (?) will be going on at 3.) Does anyone know for sure what time it's at?
Hopefully 5, so some of us San Diego locals can help fill the ranks of people not there to play hackey sack, and who actually know who you are.
Either way, if someone could let us know whenever you know for sure, it'd be much appreciated!

Great stuff this week. I particularly loved how Jordan's future stepdad's church changed from a ska church to a ragtime church. My girlfriend played trombone when she was in high school, and did do so for bigger church services (like Easter.) Having been raised Catholic, this blew my mind and I can't stop giggling whenever I think of church trombones (even though I know it's probably much more somber than what I'm imagining.) Also, awesome news about London. Hope the MaxFun logo doesn't run afoul of The Brand Exclusion Zone rules. http://gawker.com/5913175/behold-the-lo ... usion-zone

You were halfway there realizing you gotta steal the hackey sacks, but then you have a hackey sack giveaway at the podcast. All the birds, one stone. And the discussion about that "I love you forever" book had me in stitches. Good on you for not crying, Mr. Morris. I am ecstatic beyond belief for you guys for getting to go to London and podcast from the games. Gotta see if you can get Ricky Gervais on the show, or maybe just Queen Elizabeth.
I was psyched to see the guest this week, I'd been waiting for her to turn up. Vanessa Ragland is a real brassy dame and I think she's a delight. Expectations: SURPASSED!

So - I haven't listened to the end of the episode yet (because I got to work) but do I gather there is going to be a live episode in London? If so, I am too too too excited. How long will you guys be there for? Can I take you to my great local pub? I know you'll probably be mostly hanging out with Josie Long or other awesome people but there is usually a pretty fat pug dog in my local pub, so you might like that.
