Bad news: the episode of JJGo posted very early this morning (or late last night) has audio problems (playback is too slow, although the bumpers seem to be OK).
Good news: I can actually get some sleep rather than listen to the new episode right now.

I thought at first that Jordan was trying a new radio voice to make up for Jesse's absence, then Emily started talking... really weird sounding.

Yeah, I thought someone was filling in for Jesse and pretending to be Jordan at first...haha

I find it really endearing that Kumail is fluent/Americanized enough (which is to say extremely) to have pulled a reference to those T-shirts/bumper stickers that say "[Some sport] is life, the rest is just details" in the last JJGo he was on, but he somehow made it years in the US before learning the word "sodomy." There are SO many ways in which that revelation could've happened, and buying bootleg porn from a quasi-midget in a New York bar is probably the most wholesome.

There are a few little skips around 9min. I think that's all there is. I'm at work so I haven't had time to QC the whole thing. Hopefully that doesn't detract too much from people's enjoyment of it.

Hey guys!

The skips around 9:00 were baked in from the actual recording (we think it might be a hard drive issue) so there wasn't much I could do about it but edit around it. There's a new version up sans skips, but I couldn't save that 30-45 seconds.

Sorry for all the issues today, I listened through the rest of it and it seems like we're all good.


Also: TMNT III definitely did not have a subtitle.
