Any chance of posting a picture of the 'fashion watch'?

That watch makes the most sense. All watches should be like that... maybe just without the words

re: "What do you think?"
I met some British people while travelling a few years ago, and it threw me off every time I was asked "You alright?" My instinct is always to answer like, "Yeah, I'm fine, why?"

The funny thing about the new job I spoke about in the drunk dial is that they laid me off a month later and now I'm collecting unemployment! I totally forgot about making that call though - it's a good memory of a happier time. But, I'm on the road to another new job and should be making another related drunk dial shortly!

Haha. Being English I say "alright?" all the time. Saying you're fine is a pretty standard reply. I'm not sure what stock response that this guy is expecting for "What do you think?" is either. For some reason I still kinda like it.

Yeah, the watch is fine. I suspect it's just that he kept asking is friends about it. That's sure to cause backlash.

Around here, people sometimes say "What are you saying?" to mean "How are you?" It's very strange and I still haven't figured out the correct rejoinder. The best greeting is from a small town in northern NB (one province over), where they greet you with "How's she bootin' her?" The proper rejoinder is "De very best." Never fails to amuse me.
