British actor and comedian Simon Amstell discusses his experiences in the entertainment industry, including the events which led him to create and star in a sitcom lampooning his own life. Plus, comic book writer Brian K. Vaughan talks about his newest monthly series Saga and the beauty and difficulty of creation. And Jordan Morris returns to the program, and America GETS RANKED. Simon Amstell! What an absolute sweetheart. This is a great interview; I'm fascinated by the way this strange comedian sees things. I miss him on Buzzcocks!

I've spent the last few years missing Amstell on Buzzcocks. This interview helped me come to terms with that a little more.

I think this should be coupled with the Apatow/Parton episode as "best of 2012." I knew that Amstell and you would hit if off, especially.

If you have the opportunity to see Simon Amstell's show, I highly recommend it as well. He was a delight in this interview. Also the interview with Brian K Vaugn is also great, I recently have been getting into comics and so having him on the show seemed tailor-made for me

I had never heard of Never Mind The Buzzcocks (which is crazy since it's been on the air for over 15 years) but Simon was so charming that I've been checking it out. I had somehow also never heard of the boy band Blue, which they constantly make fun of, but now that I've started watching I'm finding Blue bashing in other areas where I didn't know it existed, like the movie Love Actually. It's so weird that major pop culture things like this in one country can go complete missed in another....especially for someone like me, who watches a decent amount of British TV and has British inlaws.
Another reason why Bullseye is great.
