After hearing the Dolly interview I am no longer embarrassed to say I enjoyed the movie 9 to 5. Was definitely worth sharing with my friends.

Anyone else having issues downloading this on the iOS podcast app? I have tried like five times and it never starts downloading, only "preparing".

I liked the contrast between the fatherhood chat with Apatow and Dolly talking about how she doesn't regret not having children (which is to say the overall feel of the episode was neither 'hey parents, you're missing out!' nor 'hey non-parents, you're missing out!' which is something I appreciate, since, hey - people can be happy with all sorts of choices/circumstances).
It was also perfectly timed to make me continue to think all Dolly Parton songs sound like Christmas songs.

For some reason Jolene gets me fired up! I guess it's because even though it's a sad song, her voice is so intense on it. Install the Downcast app for 1.99 and have your life changed Dandy!

Super charming episode all around. I listened to a little Trail of Dead years ago but never really got into them other than a couple songs, however after the segment on Waiting Room I downloaded their recent album and it's really, really good. The songs are really stripped down compared to what I remember their old stuff being like. More punk, less prog. Great album.
