I can really vividly imagine an episode of new girl where Schmidt keeps talking about how he's going to wet his beak, and Winston gets increasingly irritated about it.

Abbondanza!

Is it just me, or does Kurt Braunohler have the cadence and attitude of Andy Daly? Of course their talents are lie in different areas, but something feels similar. Aren't they both from new Jersey?

In any case, he was great on Stop Podcasting Yourself as well.

In addition to the fish truck conversations and strange jobs:

My high school hired a guy called the Geese Police. It was basically a dude in a pick up truck that would drive to our school, let his dog run around, chase the canada geese away, and leave. This was supposed to prevent the geese from crapping all over our football field. The problem was the field was always full of geese crap anyway, and we once saw him let this dog crap on the field and leave it. Our high school conference called us the geese shit field (unofficially).

I keep thinking about the fish cannon but my mental image is much cooler than this google image search result.

Out in the Columbia Gorge is a picture of an old FISH TRAIN . It looked like an old circus car with huge rows of fish tanks running down each side of the interior and a cement mixer shoot/tube for launching those fish. It was used by the hatchery to take the fish up and down the river between the dams so the fish stuck in each section didn't become too inbred. This will be useful when Simon moves onto heavy cargo transport themes.
