The hockey strike was pretty big news here in Buffalo, mostly along the lines of "What, again?".

Emotionally Wounded Dave is one of my favourite characters. Jon Dore seems particularly equipped to bring him out.

I bet that Graham is on a bear website somewhere. You can't have all that fur and not get some attention.

It's so delightful every time Jon calls Dave David.

One would not call Jon Dore "muted" on this one if one hadn't heard the first Jon Dore episode - this was "muted"for him - and still brilliant. Love "annoyed Dave Shumka". And - the best thing is how often you all go off track - made for a longish show that was worth every minute. One of your best!

I've listened to every episode twice and this is, in my opinion, the best SPY episode ever.

For the overseen on the t-shirt: the "diamonds and pearls" phrase is used by one of the sororities at Pitt (in Pittsburgh), and at other chapters of that national sorority. That guy was wearing a girl's sorority rush t-shirt.
