They said it couldn't be done! Who said it? We did. Because two-thirds of us were pretty sick all week, which makes recording a podcast (or sitting upright) a harrowing task. But we love you too much to quit. It's our biggest fault. Suggested talking points: Throwing DJ Jazzy Jeff, Netflix with John Wayne Gacy, The Rest of the Story, A quiver of dildos, the shenannies, the documentary Jack Frost Episode 142 MP3

The very first question is exactly what's wrong with "nerd" culture. Look, I like arguing about things, and talking about Doctor Who, but there's an audience for that, and it's not every single person in the fucking world. So what if a person couldn't pick up on your clever fucking quip about The Doctor? Not everyone likes what you like, and that's okay, life goes on. I'm sick of hearing about Doctor Who fans get pissed because other people don't know what the show is. "Nerds" will be the first to go on and on to anybody about a show they like to people who don't care, but God forbid you mention anything about sports around them. Also, I will admit that I get into arguments a lot, and yes, I often don't realize it. But if you're with someone that is going to belligerently argue you with you over The Hulk or Goku winning in a fight for hours, it's not the fact that you're dating "nerds" that's the problem, you're dating assholes who happen to like "nerdy" things.

I sort of feel the same way about nerd culture at times, like everyone just chill out a little. That said, the people the lady wants to be friends with do totally exist but they may not be in close proximity to her. I would suggest trying to make online friends who care about the things you do at the same level you do, regardless of where they are from, and use that as an outlet for your especially nerdy tendencies.

One of the first Google image search results for "DJ Jazzy Jeff Bel-Air":

I'm almost positive I heard someone mention that they've had debates about Avatar the animated series versus the movie. I didn't realize anyone still acknowledges that movie ever existed.

I have heard from a reliable source that Uncle Phil aka Jack Avery and Reginald VelJohnson were lovers back in the day.
