I was glad to have Graham join those of us who are sick of zombie stuff (notable exception for me being Nick Miller's Z Is For Zombie), but now that he and Warren's idea is out there I'm disappointed that Graham is sick of zombie stuff.

I can't vouch for Canada, but when I worked in an American McDonalds, we offered off menu an "All American Meal" that consisted of a cheeseburger, small fries and small drink. It was quite popular with the older set, who would frequent our McDonalds on the regular (also popular with the olds: the Big N' Tasty sandwich, which I think their doctors told them was lower in salt content).

Turns out that claw machines are rigged - that is to say, the mechanism has variable strength and will drop things often by design.

The bits about the restaurants, both family-style vs. eating in a tube and the pitch black restaurant with blind waiters, had me in stitches.
