An extra-long JJGo for your holiday travel (and to last two weeks, since we're doing some holiday traveling of our own).

Schnockered?

I had to try spelling that a few different ways but I knew the urban dictionary would have it. Notice it's "of jewish decent".

In response to Jordan's comparison of the HJ to sand-lot baseball:

Hey, thanks for the entertainment during the long holiday drive. The whole family enjoyed the joke about Batmans' buttplug as we were crossing Kentucky!

Whoo! Great show!
Danger Mouse MORE than holds up. It's even better now.
I love that this show had graphic sex talk as well as discussions of Nickelodeon shows.

Jordan's well-reasoned novelist argument almost swayed me. I agree totally that Batman is probably a bad friend, plus there is the danger that you will either be attacked by a Gotham villain, or turn on Bats and end up in Arkham yourself (see Harvey "Two Face" Dent, Cassandra "Batgirl" Cain, Dr. Thomas "Hush" Elliot).
However, my FIRST thought was the possibility I might get to tag along to the Justice League Office Christmas Party, and presumably make out with a drunken Green Arrow in the supply closet. That made me say Bat-Pal all the way. I know Jim said it's unlikely, but I still agree with Brian that it is worth a shot.

If loving Batman is wrong, I don't want to be right.

I went novelist right at the beginning, kinda swayed to batman but ended up back at novelist.

What will I ever do the podcast is no longer PG ;) Though I guess it wasn't just last week that threw the hope for a youth demo out the window. :)

Fantastic show this week.

I first watched Voyage of the Mimi right before Good Will Hunting came out... and I was aware of Ben Affleck as little child before I was aware of him as a movie star / writer.

Voyage of the Mimi WAS science class for me in 5th grade. They tried to show us Voyage of the Mimi II in 6th grade, but it just wasn't the same. I remember them learning how to make guacamole, walking through a Mexican market, and dating Mayan artifacts.

In a way, I'm kind of offended/insulted by the whole idea of "The Game." I feel the same way about articles about "how to catch your dream boyfriend" or whatever in magazines aimed at girls (which also offend me entirely, but that's a whole other thing). It just puts the whole idea of relationships into a weird competitive light where the goal is to succeed by tricking the opposite sex into paying attention to you as much as possible.

I was TOTALLY right on Would You Rather from the beginning.

I'm glad somebody brought up Pete and Pete. Agreed that show more than holds up. There's a certain special weirdness that you just don't see these days.

Hey Targem, you know I'm literally halfway through Hush right now. But I guess there's no point in finishing it anymore.

I don't usually use emoticons, but: :(

Brian was really funny. I'm going to need to check his stuff out.
I loved how the pickup lines were centered around pop-culture references from when the pickup artists were in their teens/20s.
I think the idea of using the Bat Signal to broadcast someone's name to impress them is really sweet, actually.
