Discuss it here!
I was kind of shocked, honestly, at how candid Peedi was. And appreciative for it.

O gawd, I was gonna make a comment about the mixtape that you propped on your blog via hhruckus. P is a really, really charismatic rhymer. He spits with such confidence of self in a way that inspires catchiness. That trademark rrrring, rrrring, aggresive cadences- so much game. He sometimes falls into the inane content area that alot of his clique do.
I look forward to this episode.
I am still a few months behind on TSOYA. I like to listen to stuff from the begining. I caught up to Lost, The Office, 30 Rock much more quickly- even after being multiple seasons behind. You have just produced so much content. Your booking ability continues to surprise, amaze, and impress me.

Yeah, I'd say his lyrical content tends towards the almost shockingly inane, but his style is insane.

When I try to download this one in iTunes, the network connection keeps timing out. Is this a problem on my end?

Finally listened, and it's a really interesting interview. Where did the two non-Roots songs you played come from?

One was from Beanie Sigel's most recent album... "Gotta Have It," the other (with the chorus... "put your right hand up / put your left hand up") was a single he put out last year. He has a good mixtape you can find on mixtape torrents.com and a lot of downloads on his website.

I got the interview and was shocked by, first of all, Peedi's speaking voice. It is very distinct from his rapping voice. Kinda like the two voices B. Real has.
Secondly, i was surprised, considering the afforementioned inanity of some of his subject matter, by how grounded he seemed.
Because P didn't say Freeway was only 7 or so when they met, I cannot get rid of the image of a portly and bearded ninja nunchucking around.
Thanks for this opportunity.
I'd like to see you get Bun B; his interview in The Believer was stunning.
