Fucking Jordan and I went out to burritos and he ordered a burrito with no rice.
Might as well go to Chipotle.

This is why La Taqueria is overrated, their tacos are awesome but no rice in the burritos is thoroughly unforgivable.

I didn't get the mean bit either. Except for the wedgie you gave me in the green room.

One time I went to La Taqueria and I didn't know that and I was super pissed. La Taqueria sucks.

I'll listen either way, but am curious.
I just talked to Sandwich about this. We're going to cross-link and cross-promote, but only podcast our own shows.
I'll also be posting Bucky's set here and on the blog for those who want to hear his standup.

Sweet. Does that mean listening to JJGo! now and YLNT tomorrow will be an awesome cliffhanger, or will it be a mystifying journey backwards in time?
I am there either way.

(sigh) let's put the baby to bed on this, shall we?
If you grew up in a latino-heavy area, the burrito you grew up with is the industry standard. I was talking to two San Diego-born roomies who came to the show who complained that they couldn't find "San Diego" style burritos. My Austin pal has similar complaints.
For me, the "perfect storm" is Albertaco's in San Juan Capistrano.
So, let's try to have a little empathy for the Burrito prefrences of others, shall we? Plus, it's boring.

This is why we lost in Vietnam.
That said: I agree with the sentiment... no good can come of me discussing burritos. It is like asking grandpa what Korea was like.

This is [one of the reasons] why it is great to have grown up in an area with virtually no Hispanic population. No frame of reference for good Mexican food / you can find a Taco Bell everywhere.

So in this analogy, is Jordan defending riceless burritos the equivalent of you asking grandpa if he met Hawkeye?
(FWIW, rice is filler. Might as well just wrap it in a second tortilla if you want to fill up on starches.)

Zuh? What else in a burrito tastes like or has the texture of rice?

Great cast! The audience was a lot more into it than the last live JJGo! so good for them. And Mal was a cool guy. Plus, that nerd game. Oh man. I want more of THAT.
