As for the confusion of Kenneth Branagh heading the Thor movie, they are banking on his experience with Shakespearean plays and with olde dialogue with Henry V, Hamley and Much Ado About Nothing in Asgard, which is were a good first half of the movie will take place.

You guys are smarter than you think (possible)? The Waco people were actually spinoffs of spinoffs of 7th Day Adventists, who started once their leader lied to them a couple of times about the end of the world. The people who started it were too busy crying, literally, all day to do much of anything, though.

...That sad bit of knowledge aside, hilarious show! No, really.

I'd also like to point out how long Jesse stretched the "won't talk about Ray J's penis" bit compared to how frequently he name-checked it afterward. It was a real relief to those who couldn't get Ray J's dick out of their heads during the "thug" explanation.

It's not the fault of the Southern women that they thought Kynt and Vysin were a couple. They are billed on The Amazing Race as 'Dating Goths.'

Based on what Jordan said about that, I'm curious to know if he, like us viewers, were simply so overwhelmed by Kynt's gayness assumed he was gay, or if the pair make it clear that they are just friends and not a couple.

Holy crap, I'm excited about this one. WKUK is AMAZING.

This is perhaps the greatest sketch on TV in the past 20 years, unless this one is.

With all this mention of Jesse's "Murder Shack in the Mountains," I'm curious if that's the official name for the new MaxFun HQ?

I love naming my more expensive possessions (I named by 2001 Prius "Arthur"), and estates are no different.

Hearst had Xanadu, English mansions get names like "Gosford Park" and "Ridgecrest." You call also get literal like "The House That Podcasting Built."

All that being said, I think "Murder Shack in the Mountains" is pretty rad.

Daily, all last week, I saw Family Radio Worldwide people piling off the Metro and into their branded van. It's 100% painted up like they work for a gaudy body shop or glass repair service.

Apparently they were using the commuter parking in Alexandria, VA to stage their tour of DC.

Also, "The Bible Guarantees It" is still on several Metro buses.

So I'm a believer. I guess.

We've got Family Radio "The World Will End" billboards up here in the Bay Area, too! I've seen them in SF, Oakland, Hayward, and Alameda, in both English and Spanish.

Great episode, folks!

So excited that Trevor got one of my shirts! I'd like to send the proper size for Big Time if you'll let me know what size he wears.

Trevor was great. What a whizbanger.

Swore I saw one of these signs on my train journey to work.

I did like this quote on the Family Radio website.

Quote:
Didn't Harold Camping say that the world would end in 1994?

In 1992 Mr. Camping wrote a book entitled 1994? In that book Mr. Camping highlighted the abundant evidence pointing to 1994 as a probable year of Christ's return. Given the abundance of information pointing 1994 and the urgency of time, the book 1994? was written. Mr. Camping felt as a teacher, he must share the Biblical information he had found and warn the world.

Important subsequent biblical information was not yet known, so this book was incomplete. Mr. Camping warned there may be something he overlooked therefore the question mark was prominently placed on the title.

This sheds some light on the whole may 21 thing, as well as what happens if the world keeps on tickin'.
