The talk on hypocrisy is something I'm a big fan of. It's really, really, really hard to never appear hypocritical. Changing your mind or failing are pretty human things. People aren't consistency machines, and hypocrisy isn't a spectacular failure unless it's actually part of a, well, spectacular failure.

Great episode! I can feel myself becoming more powerful already. What happened with Merrill Markoe? I don't remember her being mean to you guys on the show. She just didn't seem to understand what was a joke and what wasn't (everything & nothing, respectively).

APE: AORE POWERFUL than EVER She went on Greg Fitzsimmons podcast and said doing JJGo was a "nightmare". She didn't mention the podcast by name, but did reference them telling her about comedians who read their tweets onstage.

hah! That's a bummer. Jesse mentioned somebody going ton Fitzsimmons and trashing them too, I thought that was a separate incident but I didn't ask about it because I was afraid too many haters would make me go super-ape.

The talk on hypocrisy reminded me of Dave Eggers' interview excerpt on "keeping shit real" -- Quote: ...I am here to tell you that I have, a few years ago, found my way out of that thicket of comparison and relentless suspicion and judgment.
