This episode sets an important and brilliant legal precedent. I don't think I've ever heard an expert witness issue a verdict/sentencing on behalf of a judge.
This is truly a great day in the American fake judicial system!

This episode was great. Of course, they always are, but ALTON BROWN!! YES...what has the US Gov done to improve anything with food, ever? I too thought the reaction of everyone when the Afghani food consumption was revealed was hilarious. And the bickering back and forth made this even better to listen to. Great podcast, as always

I thought this was the best episode yet. Also the show needs more yelling and threats of roughhousing from Jesse.

I thought that the best part of the show was the Judge's explanation of how people should support the things they love. The rest was hilarious, of course, but that explanation was dead-on, and made me finally break open the piggy-bank. Thank you, John Hodgman and Jesse (and all of the other shows, honestly) for keeping me laughing throughout all the tedious driving I have to do for work.

It really hit me after I saw him tweet a picture from a restaurant 2 blocks from my house. By the time I got around to thinking of going it was sold out. oh well.

You know, it just hit me that I have spent the last week secure in the conviction that Afghani food clearly makes people sick, when I have absolutely no idea what Afghani food is (other than a cuisine associated with the people of Afghanistan). Does that make me a racist? I mean, the meal could have consisted of PB & J and Ecto-Cooler for all I know (assuming Afghani food is based on my elementary school lunch routine).
Note: I'm totally a racist, but I'm wondering if the Afghani food thing is a separate phenomenon.

Afghani food is like a perfect mixture of Indian and Middle Eastern food. A lot of the same curries and textures of Indian food, but a lot of the spicing and cooking of kabobs, kaftas, etc. So, in essence, the exact blend of the things that might make your stomach upset from both food styles.

Plus they're always putting raisins in shit.
You have to weigh that grossness against how great yogurt sauces are.
