a) everyone likes Justin Timberlake. he is America's Greatest Pop Star, or at least will be as long as he collaborates with Timbaland, Pharrell and exclusively the best producers in the world.
and
b) Halloween, I find, is fun. Only because I like to dress up and/or put on make-up. My costumes generally aren't costumes but excuses to pretend I am the make-up guy on a horror movie (for example:
from last year. But I like doing that. I will agree that if you want to have a party good-time, it has to happen somewhat organically which is never the case on Halloween and New Years. So it depends on your expectations. I would expect Jesse to like Halloween, if only because he is a bit of a dandy and you could indulge that side without appearing overly formal.

I had called about the fire while stuck in traffic on my street. The whole neighborhood was evacuating at once, so I had a few minutes to call. I'm nowhere near Malibu. Haven't you noticed that the whole world is on fire? Maybe it's just me.
Got back to my home today. Looks like the fire got very close.

Wow. Ira Glass may have heard my annoying voice on your show.
Somehow, this means I am one step closer to being Best Friends with Sarah Vowell.
Follow up: I did not get the job in Abu Dabi, but I got a good week of being able to say "Abu Dabi Salsa and Jazz Festival".
And my Dad, who is WAY less racist than you guys, was also concerned about the Harem possibility.
I also made the giant Sphinx puppet at work do the "Something, Something" joke.
