I bought it and listened to it last week. Solid gold stuff! I was going to list the "sweaters" I liked best, but then I was basically picking every track, so nevermind. But yeah, buy it!

When I saw him do Ben Alterman a year or so ago, I almost hurt myself laughing. Every time he said, "the widow XXXXX", I lost it.

I preordered it so it came in the mail shortly after the release date- I haven't had a chance to listen to the whole thing yet, but so far it's great.

Like, I am hesitant to call it my favorite until I give it another listen, but the Greatest Actor in all of France really, really clinched it for me.

impatiently waiting for it to show up from ASTrecords. I wanted the bonus tracks. Hopefully it will get here soon cause I am totally expecting it to be the raddest.

I feel your frustration...I preordered mine but ordered the Sklar Brothers and Doug Benson while I was at it and it still isn't here...it would've been a nice component of the 11 hours I drove roundtrip this past weekend.

I remember seeing Daly do a lot of these characters on something called The Show Show with Owen Burke and Matt Besser. I hoped to see Danny Mahoney, Skip McCabe and Ben Alterman again in my life. Now I have them forever.
I love the Danny Mahoney stuff live and I'm glad it works on CD, even without seeing the conga line (or the women's shirt that says "warning: extremely hot dancer").

I listened to it on Napster. It's fantastic. The life of the party and the Shooter skits were brilliant!

Boy let me tell ya, Andy Daly is (like Jesse) a sweetheart of a guy. I haven't heard the podcast but that is soon to change.
About a year ago I send him a message on Myspace. I told him a stand up clip of his is one of the funniest/most original bits of comedy and have since played it to a couple of my friends and my sister. Then I have the nerve to ask him where I can find it. He obviously has better things to do. I continue to give him the ass kissing that he deserves by staying that he steals the show in almost everything he does and wanted to know if he was performing stand up in San Diego anytime soon (I now live in Austin, Texas... way cooler city by the way) because I would love to meet him.
By "meet him" I meant "see him perform stand up" and I didn't write "meet him". I wrote "beat him". Yikes.
Within a couple of hours he writes me back a saying where I could find the clip on the internet and where I could buy the CD. http://www.dead-frog.com/blog/entry/pre ... ick_thune/
This program might have directed me to the clip so some of you may have heard this before.
Then he humbly thanks me for the compliments, say's he hopes I meant "meet" not "beat" and makes a joke at what he assumes is a typo. He then wrote me back quite a bit more than that even thought. He went out of his way to help me find his act and way so gracious about everything even though I was was being a bit of an ass. Andy Daly: Class act and comedy genius.

JT is pretty firmly on the record as being a misanthrope, no?
