oh my god! what a guy, that Jack McBrayer! He seems as sweet as he does on television. I kind of just want to hug him through the radio. Also the stuff about Tracy Morgan was wonderful. Jesse, if it is at all in your power, please put more Jack McBrayer on your show. If 30 Rock gets canceled you should give him a spot on JJGO. It could become JJJGo!

I'm pretty much ready to marry him. (Or at least take him behind the middle school and get him pregnant)
Actually, I was pretty much ready to marry him after the first time I saw him improvise years ago. He is the greatest.

Oh god Jack is so awesome, great interview. He's one of the main reasons I wait multiple hours in line every sunday for Asssscat.
One of my friends is a PA on College Humor's Showalter Showalter and when Jack came in he said he was without a doubt the nicest golly/smile filled guy ever.

Great interview, I certainly don't mind more 30 Rock talk.
Just a reminder Jesse, miasma means atmosphere but the connotation is negative. An example would be "after David O. Russell's meltdown it was hard returning to the miasma that was the set of I Heart Huckabees."

Ohmigod, Jack is frickin' adorable, especially his little seal laugh.
Great interview, Jesse. The two of you got to do some inspired riffing which I always appreciate.

Great interview, Jesse. You touched on a lot of topics. Loved to hear the stuff about how he went through Chicago, how he ended up there in the first place, working with the various great performers on 30 Rock, and dealing with his newfound fame.
I felt the same way after seeing him improvise several years ago. He wasn't doing much in New York back then, and was just on a regular ole' Harold team. A great team, but just one of your standard house teams nonetheless.
He used to do an AMAZING 2-person show with Paul Scheer from Human Giant simply called Scheer-McBrayer. They only break it out at the Del Close Marathon these days. But their show nearing the close of the 2004 Marathon remains of the the greatest improv shows I've ever seen. They did a scene in a taxi cab where they were both playing multiple characters which was so hilarious. Clearly, describing improv after the fact is never productive, but still. With time running down on their performance, Scheer even turned to the audience and asked "one more?" They audience fucking cheered for another scene, and they did a second beat of one of their previous scenes. Such a great show with such amazing energy from the audience.
And BTW, for those attending the LA meetup on Friday, you've never really seen MatchGame until you see the wee-hours craziness that is MatchGame during the Del Close Marathon. Insanity.

My only beef with this interview is that I kept wondering what he was doing in LA! 30 Rock and his home being New York based, obviously. Future projects, auditions, live comedy...any idea given off-microphone conversation.
Also, second beef, he was two miles away from me, and I didn't know it. I would have taken him behind one of those portable convenient store/ice cream trucks in our hood and gotten him pregnant.
I think I'm in loooooooove.

Was anyone else really impressed with Jack's enunciation? I mean that can can talk! I think he has a future in podcasting, if he wants it.
