This is a great episode. I loved the bit where you were picking apart Forrest Gump accidentally inventing "Shit Happens" and the smiley face. How about a one-off segment where you hash out what Forrest Gump accidentally invented/got involved in during the 00s? I would guess gel wristbands, flash mobs and Twitter. All by rubbing his face on different things

Graham, can I suggest a charity for the proceeds from your paintings?
Check out candlelighters.org. They help families of kids with cancer. My little cousin (who is going through chemo!) has been raising money for them by making and selling friendship bracelets. Aw.
Anyway, it's a good organization.

I think Dan's sleep problem can be creepily solved by Japan.

Proceed with caution, because it may lead to a fake relationship with the Canadian equivalent to Jenna Moroney, and then a real three way with the Canadian equivalent to Liz Lemon.

Turn the dark back on. I have no interest in a transgendered Green Goblin, or the T-1000's wet dream.

Re Brazil/Hitler, my favorite example of linguistic buck-passing is that in the Middle Ages, syphilis was known as the French Disease in England, the Italian Disease in France, the Spanish Disease in the Netherlands, and the Christian Disease in Turkey.

I was watching Three Sheets, and while we call it Chilean sea bass, in Chile, they just call it sea bass.

That's a lame example. But. IT'S AN EXAMPLE.

It's actually not an example, because Chilean Sea Bass is a made-up marketer's name that sounds better than Patagonian Tooth Fish, which is the real name.

Getting ready to listen to the new episode. But I wanted to ask, what did everyone thing about Paul F Tompkins on Community last week? I give it an "awesome."

P.S. If this has already been discussed at length, then my B.

There's a great chart that maps what other countries say along the lines of "it's Greek to me"

That Smiley Face thing in Forrest Gump took me right out of the movie. That whole section was pretty silly, upon reflection.

I thought it was amazing. I was impressed by PFT's range. Honestly, Community is my favorite thing on TV right now, so I can't imagine it going badly.
