I feel like the parental revelation from [the last guy who didn't give his name] automatically trumps anything I have to share about my parents.
Although I did recently find my dad's bootleg Pink Floyd cassettes, which he recorded at concerts in Germany in the 70's. The only revelation there is that my dad was into piracy way before it made it to the internet. Hipster dad.

COME ON! The whole time you were explaining OPP I was expecting someone to say "OPP, how can I explain it? I'll take you frame by frame it"

"I have been watching A LOT of Cheers recently."
ME TOO! I went back to see if Cheers held up from my childhood memories. And, I agree, it does. The acting is very play-y, but I'm loving it.

First post but I just wanted to throw this out there. 'Sarge' was a character in Six Feet Under. He was a professional paintballin' athlete who ended up having a threesome with Keith and David. POW!

It's a mirror, so I think it would be pretty tough to photograph.

Until this day, I always thought "OPP" was other people's property. Kinda blew my mind.

I should clarify that of course "Jump" is by Kriss Kross, and "Jump Around" is by House of Pain. I think we were talking about "Jump Around" when Jordan or Drew said "Jump," but maybe I confused things extra.

Not just difficult: soul-stealing. Photographing mirrors steals your soul. Yeah, I said it.

When I was a kid I somehow got the idea that Woody Harrelson sang the Cheers theme. A quick search of the internet shows I wasn't alone. Did anyone else hear this?

It's both - for the fellas, it's pussy. For the ladies, OPP means something different/the first two letters are the same/but the last means something different. Way to rhyme "Different" with "Different" Treach!
Also, I loved when Jordan said when all reggae music made him think of Sublime. I love me some reggae/dub/ska/rocksteady but I also totally relate to that sentiment and thought it was expressed hilariously!
And yeah, it is full of homophobia and much as Jesse always says about the homophobia inherent in hip hop, (I'm paraphrasing,) you kind of just need to get past it. It's hard though.

The movie talk read like this: if a lot of people like a movie and you don't, those people's opinion is questionable. But if you like a movie and a lot of people don't, then their opinion is questionable.
Really, Jordan, you dislike Juno THAT much? You probably think it's too "twee" and admonish the precocious honest-to-blog'isms. Of course that's about 15 minutes of a movie about the emotions of teen girls and teen pregnancy, and which deals with them honestly and sometimes darkly. But you're a 20-something guy and they had a hamburger phone, so you don't have to worry about those parts.
Oh, Bob Marley and Sublime are the same? Oh, OK, Jordan. ;P
/cheeky internet snark
(seriously though, Juno is actually really touching and full of heart, and Ellen Page's portrayal was brilliant)
Jesse: "Pewmas" in the "cravace".

Jesse! I can't stand Shakespeare either! ugghhh, there are SO MANY more entertaining ways to spend 3-4 hours of one's life! Maybe I did like Branagh's Much Ado about Nothing, but that's all. Othello was such an unpleasant experience, I hate Shakespeare for even writing the words of that horrible plot down on paper with his stupid quill pen.
