The interstitial music played at random inappropriate times. Apart from that, it was a spectacular episode. Josie Long was especially fantastic.

I was going to write a post on how Greg Behrendt (and by proxy, the United States of America) got the shaft in the quiz, as he actually selected the correct answer (Portalsdown Canaries United). However, I then realized that he selected the correct answer for the wrong question (Which of the following is a real English football team?). Now, I'm not sure how I feel.
For the record, Jesse had it right the first time: three of the four (AFC Dunstable, Armthorpe Welfare, and Pegasus Juniors) are actual English football clubs. I think it's terrific that football club names are so rich in absurdity (personal favourites include "Botswana Meat Commission FC" and Ghana's "Essienimpong Cape-Coast Mysterious Dwarfs"), that Jesse managed to convince himself that he'd made up two actual club names.
While Portalsdown Canaries United is not a actual football team, there is a 100% chance that it will be the name of my fantasy hockey team next fall.
I concur with Ziggamorph, Josie Long was delightful. One final pedantic heads up, in the metadata description for the podcast, she is miscredited as Josie Walsh.

I'd like an entire episode of Jesse giving the funny D answers in the multiple choice quiz please.

I tend to think live episodes of podcasts are downgrades, but this episode was phenomenal (ringers present, yeah, but still phenomenal). Soccer blunder aside, I was grinning the whole time, literally.

I was sure he was going to use Tottenham Hotspurs or Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Josie Long is just wonderful!
What I've learned is Jesse would be fantastic to play Balderdash with.

If you love Josie Long, check out her episodes on Charlie Brooker's fake quiz show, "You Have Been Watching." That's how I fell in love with her. Also:
USA! USA! USA! USA! USA!

I agree. Like most things in life, podcasts are improved when ringers like ResilliantRabbit are involved. She gives good hug.
As for the quiz, unlike Josie, Greg was trying to cheat by getting answers from the audience. PTRQ was attempting to give him answers. I was rooting for Josie, because holy fuck is she charming. I chanted Josie Long instead of USA.

It's a tongue twister actors use for warmup.

Me too! Tottenham Hotspur is my team!
But it's singular. It's only plural if you're calling them by their nickname, Spurs. I know, right?!
