Here is a direct link to the Time Traveler's Pocket Guide page, complete with Bumper discount code, for those too lazy to type or have (understandable) trouble spelling "bureau"! http://timetravelbureau.com/spy/
(Also, I am ridiculously happy that the episode I sponsored happened to be a Charlie Demers episode!)

Remember the Gobbledeygooker, the WWF turkey that popped out of a giant egg? It was pretty terrible.

I LOVE Redbox. The machine is pretty gross, but really just at the same level as a gas pump or the handle of a door, nothing some hand sanitizer doesn't cure. If you register online, you can reserve movies and have until 9 p.m. the next day to pick them up. You have to register with a credit/debit card, but when you get to the machine all you have to do is tap the pickup button on the screen and slide your card and it dispenses your movie. There are QR codes on labels that cover the clear part of the center of the disc, and the case is die cut around the label, so the machine knows what it's doing that way. AND you can set up favorite machines online and see what's in stock at the convenient ones. AND you can return your movie to any machine, not just the one you got it from. I know I sound like an ad, but if you think $1.20/day is worth your while for a new release, it's a lot easier than trying to time your Netflix consumption so you get a movie just when you want it.

This is the first time I have heard anyone else mention that celery pop. I was almost starting to think that I had imagined it. Oh, and it was super gross - and I am a huge celery fan.
On another beverage related front, a few years ago I was working as a loader at a Willie Nelson show when I noticed that one of his tour semis had a wall of panties/bras and hundreds of gallons of Willie Nelson's preferred aloe vera water. Apparently he is very particular about his aloe water.

I hate those Disaronno ads with a passion. Stupid ice cube lady.
I'm sure someone has already pointed out the difference between Branford and Wynton Marsalis, right?

It's an especially good deal since I'm probably not the only SPY listener who'll be giving this episode (at least) one more listen this week.
Okay, okay. You got me. I listened to it yesterday and I've already started listening to it again.
Good work, gentlemen. This episode was an absolute delight.

Yes, wrestling talk! Not only was Jim Niedhart the tag team partner of Bret Hart, but they're also brothers-in-law. Yep, Bret Hart's sister married someone who already had Hart in his name kinda. No relation to Jimmy Hart though. Also, the British Bulldog married another one of the Hart sisters.

Do all aloe drinks have those...chunks in them? The only one I ever tried had gelatinous chunks and I did not care for it.

One of my favorite things about SPY is when they talk wrestling
The guy that read poems and threw frisbees in the crowd was Leaping Lanny Poffo aka The Genius aka Randy Savage's brother.
Also, Charlie Demers is an A+ guest. The chemistry bertween the 3 of them is great. He also reminds me of Harris Whittels on Comedy Bang Bang.

Is there a place to buy tickets online for the live show on the 18th, or will tickets just be at the door?
Also another A+ episode. I loves me some Charlie Demers.

Tickets will be at the door. Probably $5.

Thanks Dave! I will definitely be there (even if I do have to work at 5am the next morning).
