Let someone who wears them regularly straighten out this eyelash conversation:

1) False Eyelashes should be affixed to the lash line ABOVE where the actual lash line exists, not on it, as removing the false lashes might remove your actual lashline (or cause abrasions or infections)
2) Lashes made of human hair, if cared for properly, can be reused many many times.
3) For anyone who wears them regularly, applying lashes is a quick and easy process... that being said, it's part of the 'getting ready before one goes out' routine, putting them on on public transit or anywhere else... not nearly as bad/gross/awful as cutting one's nails, but not that bad.

I go from: http://burly.me/rC3QBk to this http://burly.me/ug83tA regularly, so I count myself as a professional on lashes.

;)

PS I ♥ Dave Shumka *and* celebrity birthdays.

I haven't listened to the whole show yet, but I just wanted to make sure everyone knew there was a musical of Ghost. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sw5a5beiLSw

Could we could please get someone working on a sitcom pilot to use the line "Once you go Blackberry, you never go back, Gary."?

A pupu platter is a real thing! Is a plate of small snacks. I'm not sure how it became a Chinese restaurant thing, but pūpū is a Hawaiian word for hors d'oeuvres, and in Hawai'i to this day people refer to snacks at casual get-togethers as "light pupus". I don't think there's anything really governing what can be served as a pupu. Could be macaroni salad, could be bits of cheese on toothpicks, could be bacon-wrapped scallops.

I was on Cash Cab Canada.

I knew I was going to be on a game show, but not on Cash Cab. They arrange this ruse where my friends and I were going to meet a producer who would take us to the studio. The producer ran up and breathlessly told us that their van broke down, so they needed to get a cab for us. We were clueless that this would be the show. So, we climbed in, and then the whole shebang starts. Then, they explain to you everything that's going to happen.

It's not quite as spontaneous as they make it appear. They aren't just picking up random people on the street. So, don't worry about unexpectedly getting picked up when you're in a rush.

Apparently, they tried to do it by picking up random people, but too many people were boring and/or dumb, so they pre-arranged for contestants under a ruse, so it was still a surprise.

Thank you, Graham, for starting up the old school "Nolte or Busey"-esque theme song for Ripa or Rinna. The "____ or ____" thing has not only my favorite theme song, but is also my favorite segment of yours, even though I don't think you guys have done it in at least seven years. But I still love you both with all of my heart.
